Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 2, 2026
Daily Expense Book is a paid, local-first expense tracking app. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Data Collection
Daily Expense Book does not collect, upload, sell, share, or track personal data.
Expense records, categories, notes, settings, and exported CSV files are stored locally on the user's device. The app does not operate a server account system and does not send expense data to the developer.
Accounts, Ads, Analytics, and Tracking
Daily Expense Book does not include:
- User accounts or login
- Advertising SDKs
- Analytics SDKs
- Tracking SDKs
- Remote configuration services
- Third-party network services
Local Storage
The app uses on-device storage to save expense records and settings. Users can delete records inside the app. If the app is deleted from the device, locally stored app data is removed according to iOS system behavior.
CSV Export
Users can export their records as a CSV file. After export, the user chooses where the file is saved or shared. The app does not control data after the user exports or shares it outside the app.
Children's Privacy
Daily Expense Book is not designed to knowingly collect information from children. Because the app does not collect personal data, no children's personal data is knowingly collected by the developer.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the app changes. The latest version will be made available at the published privacy policy URL.
